We are sorry but in order to complete a full refurbishment of the property, The Rupert Brooke is currently closed for business.
We are aiming to re-open as soon as possible and so please return to this website for updates on progress.
In the meantime, to have a taste of what The Rupert Brooke will be, please come and see us at our sister pub/restaurant The Packhorse Inn, Moulton near Newmarket.

Chestnut Inns is currently recruiting for The Rupert Brooke in Grantchester, which opens in October.
We will be holding an Open Day for Front of House staff (bar/waiting) at The Rupert Brooke, Grantchester (CB3 9NQ) 10.00am until 2.00pm on FRIDAY 5th September.
Please note that this is still a building site - so jeans and trainers!

Grantchester is very close to Cambridge City centre, see below for details if you are not coming by car.
Walking or Cycling:
Luckily, we're just a short walk / cycle through the beautiful and famous Grantchester Meadows, accessed via Eltisley Avenue, Newnham, CB3.
Grantchester is on the number 18/18A bus route, which departs hourly from Drummer Street bus station, bay 5 every hour from 0850. It is 15 mins from Drummer St. to Grantchester. You can also pick up this bus form Newnham Grange Road, 5 mins later than above.
